For a nation that cries out in pain every time school children are murdered in the places that we’ve designed specifically to nurture and help them grow, America hasn’t done a damn thing to actually address its mass shooting problem.
What does that say about our progress when innocent people are being killed by those chosen to serve and protect and it’s all we can do to deflect to bring the focus back onto ourselves???
At times it can be frustrating to hear that the generation that preceded my own doesn’t think too highly of us and how we’re choosing to follow in their footsteps…
